SAFARI FEELING

Safari is a swahili word that stands for "long travel"... a long travel across the Sahara.

Sand, silence, starry nights and a  magnificent sense of freedom.

In the distance caravans of camels glide across the sands, their heads floating regally, and alongside stride blue-robed men whose faces are almost hidden under their indigo cheches.

The camels and men continue on at their steady mile-eating pace and soon they disappear under the palms. Cook fires spring to life, the fragrances of mint tea and tagine spiced with cumin, coriander and saffron fill the air. As night falls, the lonely desert echoes with drumbeats and nostalgic song.
